LIVE PERFORMANCE

/TEST/

Solo for alto saxophone, sensors, and live electronics (2022)

/TEST/ is a solo set developed to explore the relationship between acoustic instruments and live electronics.

The saxophone serves as the only sound input, complemented by a series of sensors connected to a microcontroller to manage digital processing directly on the instrument’s body. The system imposes no formal or aesthetic limits but remains adaptable and open to continuous experimentation. There are no fixed parts; improvisation becomes the practice for achieving an ever-evolving electroacoustic balance.
