LIVE PERFORMANCE

\\ALPACA\\

Performance for flute and live electronics (2024)

Performers: Anna Balestrieri e Alberto Bonora

\ALPACA\ is a sound journey that offers a starting point and an endpoint, creating a musical experience designed to guide the listener through a unique soundscape.

Air, inherently light and intangible, is transformed through the flute, which allows it to travel, generating dynamics and melodies. These sounds, once captured, are altered by machines into new sonorities, enriched and modified in timbre and form.

Just as a shepherd leads an alpaca through the rugged paths of the Andes, the composer aims to direct the listener toward the discovery of a fascinating sound landscape.

In this context, air becomes a tangible instrument capable of immersing the listener in a profound emotional experience, inviting reflection and connection with sound and the surrounding space. During this journey, the audience is led to experience an emotional transport in a continuous dance between sounds and silences, present and past.
